ArtCheval des écoliers offers students from Saumur and its surrounding area an exceptional place to meet and discover contemporary art. A true creative space supervised by artist Camille Bellot, who participated in the ArtCheval residency in 2021.
Around a gigantic steed, the students spun, wove, winnowed, embroidered, sewed, assembled, to create the caparison of this colossal horse.
You can admire the “Wardrobe” exhibition at the Theater le Dôme in the Molière Gallery du October 18 to November 16, 2025.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 15pm to 18pm, Wednesday from 10am to 18pm and during shows. Closed on Thursdays.
120 students participated in the project, thanks to the Hautes Vignes, Alexandre Pain, Yvonne Lombard, Saint-Louis and Abbaye schools.
